Aluminum: Something to Worry About?

Aluminum in vaccines has been a hot topic ever since Dr. Bob Sears published his delayed vaccine schedule. I don’t think aluminum is a concern because I’ve looked at the total amount in vaccines. I got the numbers for this vlog from the aluminum information page at the Vaccine Education Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. (BTW I love them so much, they are an outstanding source for all sorts of useful and timely information on vaccines)
Don’t forget to share this video with any other moms you think might want to learn more about aluminum.
Do you think the risk of disease far out-weighs the risk of aluminum exposure? I want to hear what you think!

The anti-vax peeps make a somewhat relevant point, however, that very little ingested aluminum (about 0.1%) makes it into our systems as opposed to injected vaccines.
I did, however, attempt to calculate (using the current research on aluminum bioavailibility) how much aluminum would reach a child’s brain as a result of receiving aluminum-adjuvanted vaccines in his first 2 years. The answer – negligible:

I might add that I have since found out that Dr. Sears is a DAN! doctor and is on the board of (formerly) Andrew Wakefields’ Thoughtful House. That, and he sells his book. He’s not exactly an honest broker regarding vaccines.

Is my previous comment perhaps stuck in your spam filter for using too many links?
